Allison Pitinii Davis & Elizabeth Zaleski will be in conversation discussing their latest works, Business, a novella in Agency 3, and The Trouble with Loving Poets and Other Essays.
Allison Pitinii Davis is the author of the poetry collection Line Study of a Motel Clerk (Baobab Press, 2017), a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award and the Ohioana Book Award and Business, a novella in Agency 3: Novellas (Baobab, 2025). Work from Outskirts, her hybrid manuscript exploring global deindustrialization and the 1972 GM Lordstown autostrike, is forthcoming from The Georgia Review, The Bennington Review, and The Southern Indiana Review. She is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Poetry at Ohio State University.
Elizabeth Zaleski is the author of The Trouble with Loving Poets and Other Essays on Failure. Elizabeth grew up in rural northeast Ohio, in Amish country. After living and traveling all over the US, she now lives in slightly less rural northeast Ohio, outside Akron. She works as an editor and is the curator of GreatFartsofLiterature.com. Her essays have appeared in journals such as Hippocampus, The Normal School, and The Missouri Review.
