Many opportunities have come from this venture such as participating in panels at the inaugural Black Readers Con, Columbus Book Festival, and Heartland Book Festival, co-hosting book discussions with blogger Jouelzy’s Smart Brown Girl Book Club— and facilitating two book clubs locally The Black and Loved Book Club at Prologue Bookshop, and the Brothers In Unity Book Club.
